Parker PrestoWeld Fittings Replaced by Prestolok PLM Fittings

Parker Fluid Systems Connector Division announced yesterday (February 19, 2013) that it will be replacing its line of PrestoWeld fittings (PW) with their recently released Prestolok All Metal (PLM) push-to-connect fittings by May 31, 2013.

Parker Prestolok PLM line is a high-temperature, silicone-free, all metal, push-to-connect fitting series. Parker Prestolok PLM offers more configurations than PrestoWeld, and performs well in welding applications. A complete Prestolok PLM metric range is available, which is commonly seen on robotic welding equipment.

Parker PrestoWeld (PW):

Maximum Working Pressure: 300 psi
Temperature Range: 0°F - 200°F
Tube Sizes (in): 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 1/2
Tube Sizes (mm): 6, 8, 10, 12

Parker Prestolok All Metal (PLM):

Maximum Working Pressure: 290 psi
Temperature Range: -4°F - 250°F
Tube Sizes (in): 5/32, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 1/2
Tube Sizes (mm): 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14
