Applications
Parker FEC Series nipple provide connect-under-pressure capability with up to 3000 PSI of trapped pressure in the nipple and are ideal for applications where residual pressure makes reconnect difficult. Utilized primarily in the construc-tion equipment market, FEC Series products are commonly found on hydraulic attachments used in skid steer applications. The FC Series nipples mate with the Parker FEM Series couplers. FEC Series couplers are not produced.To connect an FEC Series nipple holding residual pressure (up to 3,000 psi) with a non-pressurized FEM Series coupler, do not insert the nipple in to the coupler all at once. Insert the nipple only partially at first, then pause momentarily to allow pressure to equalize, then push the nipple in all the way to complete the connection.
