Stop Tubing for Parker Pneumatic Cylinders

Long stroke cylinders (fixed or pivot mounted) tend to buckle or jackknife on push load applications, which results in high bearing loading at the rod gland or piston. Stop tubes can prevent this by lengthening the distance between the gland and piston when the cylinder rod is fully extended to reduce these bearing loads. Please refer to the Stroke Selection Chart to determine stop tube length.

Single piston design for cushioned cap or non-cushioned cylinders. (Cushions are required when cylinder piston rod speed exceeds 4" per second.)

Double Piston Stop Tubing

Double piston design for air cylinders with cushioned head end or both ends.
